Flatland*
ISTD 2011 competition entry, requiring a typographic reinterpretation of the 1884 science fiction novella, Flatland. The multiple layer format of the book coincides with the different dimensions discussed in the story. As the narrator ventures into another dimension in the book, the type
moves on to a new layer.

An Alphabet
An Alphabet by John Lennon is an unconventional alphabetical poem, originally published in 1965.
The idea was to create a book that visually represented the arbitrary nature of the prose, by using a multi-coloured, nonsensical binding.

Stationery
A personal stationery set and mailer made from cardboard
that was being thrown away. A Dell computer box, found on the grounds of the university, and packaging for a fridge freezer were part of the found materials used for this project.
